Genesis 1:5-7

New King James Version

⁵ God called the light Day, and the ^(A)darkness He called Night. ^[a]So the evening and the morning were the first day.

⁶ Then God said, ^(B)“Let there be a ^[b]firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” ⁷ Thus God made the firmament, ^(C)and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were ^(D)above the firmament; and it was so.
